What is Google My Business?
Google My Business (also known as 'Google Local') is a free service provided by Google which allows companies to setup a business page that is highlighting their products and services. Customers that used a service of a company can review their experience in the Google My Business profile of this company.

What is a Google review widget?
A Google review widget is a small peace of code that you can implement into your website in order to show your Google reviews on your website.
Unfortunately Google themselves do not provide this a review widget. Therefore we created an easy solution for you to show your ratings on your website.
When creating the widgets, we put a lot of emphasis on the fact that they are very easy to integrate into all websites.
You will get access to all widgets after registration and you can choose one. Afterwards you will receive a two-line code, which you can easily integrate into your website.
This code is also very easy to integrate into content management systems like WordPress, Wix, Shopify, Drupal and many others.
Especially in WordPress systems, the integration is super easy. You don't need to install any additional plugins for all the above mentioned systems, which will slow down your website.
You also don't need to get a Google API key to use our widgets.

Sure, you need a teeny bit of technical understanding to implement our widgets. After you have completed the registration process and selected one of our review badges, you will receive a small code that you need to place on your website where you want the widget to appear later.
The code to include in your website is not complicated. It consists of two lines of code. One is the JavaScript that connects to the widget and the other is an HTML element that configures the widget.
The widget is built in such a way that it cannot cause any damage to your website.

For other Google star rating widgets you need to sign up for the Google Places API in order to receive a public authentication key that you need to use to get the widget running. That sounds complicated, right? For our widgets there is no need for a complicated setup. You easily search your company and select your preferred widget and your done.
Our review widgets are build to be used in different languages. Even for the free account you can choose your language. The best thing is that we also translate your review to the language you'd like to show.
For example if you have french or german company that receives reviews in your local language but you want to show our widget in english we would also translate the german or french reviews to english.
Free widgets let you display your Google reviews on your website with a small selection of templates. Your widget will show our branding. Pro widgets give you access to more template designs, including comment-style widgets that show full review text, and the option to hide our branding for a cleaner look on your site.
You can try any Pro widget before upgrading: the widget detail page shows a demo preview so you can see how it would look. When you upgrade, the same embed code will start showing your company's real reviews.
No. You do not need to sign up for the Google Places API or obtain any API key. You simply search for your business when you register, we link to your Google Business Profile via your Place ID, and your reviews are shown in the widget. The technical connection to Google is handled by our service.
Yes. You can add multiple companies (e.g. different locations or brands) in your account. Each company has its own Google Place and its own set of widgets and embed codes. You can switch between companies in the dashboard and configure or copy the embed code for each one separately.
Some widgets (comment or content widgets) let you set a minimum star rating (e.g. 4 stars and above). Only reviews that meet that rating will be shown in the widget. That way you can highlight your best reviews and keep the focus on positive feedback.
No we are totally GDPR conform. There is no data that we track in terms of your users behavior. No external tracking data will be loaded beside the widget.
What are Google review rich snippets?
The so-called Google review snippets are small rating stars that a user can find in the Google search. These stars are only displayed by Google if a certain code can be found on the web page.
However, there is no guarantee that Google will display the review snippets if this code is present.
Are the Google review rich snippets included in the free version?
The review snippets code is included in every version of our review widgets and review badges. However, there is no guarantee that Google will display the review snippets. You can test the functionality of the review snippets at any time here: Link to Google source.
After upgrading the Free Widget not all Reviews show up
Once you have upgraded your free widget the Reviews are showing up in our selected Pro Widgets.
Initially the Widget does not show all your Reviews but a random number of up to 5 reviews. This is normal and will grow as you keep collecting good reviews.
