1. Scope and provider

These terms govern the use of Review Widget, operated by SKAJ Ventures GmbH, Sonnenlandstraße 4, 14471 Potsdam, Germany, Amtsgericht Potsdam HRB 27911 P. They apply to business customers. Deviating terms of the customer do not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.

Review Widget is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Google LLC.

2. Service

We provide a hosted widget that displays publicly available Google reviews for a business selected by the customer, together with a dashboard for configuring it. The specific functions available depend on the selected plan. We may develop the service further, provided the agreed core functionality is preserved.

3. Account

Use requires registration. The customer must provide accurate details, keep credentials confidential, and inform us without undue delay if unauthorised access is suspected. Each business the customer wants to display reviews for is set up as a separate company in the account.

4. Plans, prices, and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance for the selected period through our payment provider. Subscriptions apply per company, not per account — a customer with several companies needs a subscription for each one for which paid features are to be active. Prices are exclusive of statutory VAT where applicable.

5. Term and cancellation

Subscriptions run for the selected billing period and renew automatically unless cancelled. Cancellation is possible at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period, via the billing area of the dashboard. Paid features remain available until that date. The right to terminate for cause remains unaffected.

6. Customer obligations

The customer is responsible for the lawful operation of the website on which the widget is embedded, including its privacy policy and any consent management. The customer may only display reviews for businesses they are entitled to represent. Misuse — in particular attempts to display third-party reviews as their own — entitles us to block the account.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not owe uninterrupted availability. Maintenance windows, outages at upstream providers, and events beyond our control may cause temporary restrictions. Review data originates from a third-party source; we do not warrant its completeness, accuracy, or continuous availability.

8. Data protection

Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and, where we process personal data on the customer's behalf, by the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms and is accepted at registration. 9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of material contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract. Liability under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.

10. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms and the Data Processing Agreement where necessary. Customers are notified of a new version and asked to accept it. The version accepted, the date, and the IP address of acceptance are recorded as contract documentation.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Where the customer is a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the provider. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder stays in force.
